INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECTS ACROSS SUSSEX

PRE-RENOVATION CONSULTION / HORSTED KEYNES

THE BRIEF

Prior to meeting with builders, this client was looking for suggestions to add a bedroom & bathroom to the top floor and to rework the ground floor space to flow more effectively.  While the kitchen is to be updated it also needed easier access to the garden.  As the next phase of family life with teenagers and a tween was imminent, the family wanted an extra living room area as well as an office space for both parents to be able to work from home.

THE CONSULTATION

During the in-person consultation we discussed various options, giving me a clear idea of how the family could live in their home.  The visit was followed with emailed sketches and floor plans offering various solutions and options that depend on their budget and their priorities.  The family has since engaged architects, plans have been drawn up and planning permission requested.

KITCHEN UPDATE / LINDFIELD

THE BRIEF

Update a tired kitchen, find a way to add storage and assist with a new colour palette.  The metal back splash needed replacing as well as cupboard doors and counter tops.  A plan based on a specific budget was requested as well as shopping assistance for tiles and paint selection.

THE PROCESS

After completing a questionnaire and sending through the budget, Pinterest ideas and measurements, we had the zoom call.  We discussed the issues and problems with the current space, colour palette options and how the family like to use the space.  Following the call, I sourced options and gave solutions and sketches giving the client everything needed to implement and complete the project herself.  The project is nearing completiwith tiles, new cupboard doors and work tops installed as well as lighting completed, the walls are due to be painted before a vintage medicine cabinet we sourced is installed.

FAMILY HOME DESIGN & DECORATION / HORSTED KEYNES

THE BRIEF

A sporty family home with a teen, a tween and a two pets. Problem's included a lack of storage, a cohesive colour palette, lighting needed updating.  We also needed to find a way to merge a traditional with a more modern asthetic.

The utility room needed more storage in general as well as shoe storage and somewhere to dry washing.  The master bedroom needed an upgrade and storage options were desperately needed for the two children's bedrooms.
